Glyn Technology School has an 'exemplary' Inclusion Department (Ofsted 2009).
Glyn has a range of facilities to support its learners:
- In-class support for Statemented and School Action Plus students provided by a dedicated team of Learning Support
Assistants.
|
| |
- Student Support Centre which aims to include students with behavioural difficulties by providing a learning environment outside the classroom.
|
| |
- FaceYouth; an externally run programme that supports students who are particularly vunerable to exclusion.
|
| |
- Various withdrawal groups aimed at supporting learners with literacy, numeracy and social skills needs.
|
| |
- A qualified counsellor to support students in a one to one environment.
|
| |
- Home-School Liaison to provide support for students who are finding being at school difficult.
|
| |
|
| |
Glyn endeavours to meet the needs of all the learners in school through Years 7 - 13.
